Hello and welcome to live Retro 40 Countdown Radio.
My name is Daran Murphy and I have spent many years in radio broadcasting. Although I am no longer on the Central Coast, I spent a lot of time in Newcastle working as a producer at KOFM and am looking to getting back to the Central Coast NSW as a beautiful place to be.
I spent over 35 years as a broadcaster and now I am a media arts teacher based in Cairns. I have been collecting music since I was six years old and have always found that living is just not living without music. I thoroughly enjoy listening to Rock classics, pop 60, 70, 80's and love Revolution Radio which is a music history show where we talk about the revolutionaries in music from the 60's 70's and 80's.
I am pleased and grateful to bring my love of music and expertise in broadcasting to Central Coast Radio.com and look forward to entertaining our listeners with the "Retro 40" Countdown Radio Show.
