I established "Monument Productions" in 2017, a management company for musicians and artists with a view to the future, not just their own future but also the future of Monument as we grow and expand into other areas of the music industry.
Monument Productions, as with much of the music industry in Australia felt the effects of Covid 19 restrictions and I was wondering where the future for bands and music would go.
It was during Covid lockdowns, while I was sitting at home I saw CCR's ad for radio presenters and as I have been told I have a voice and head for radio I thought this could well be an opportunity to keep me going during these challenging times.
The Chap Man show is all about playing great music and promoting new releases by emerging Australian artists. The incredible amount of local and Aussie talent allows us to broadcast two shows a week Monday and Wednesday from 9 pm til 12/1AM. The Monday's The Chap Man Radio show is when I play 80's to present variety with live interviews. On the Wednesday night Chap Man Radio show, I am joined by my mate Chris, an amazing local musician. The two of us entertain our listeners playing Australian artists and new releases whilst we talk about the music industry current happenings, trends and Aussie bands.
The feedback from our listeners and the bands is amazing, we get messages and emails ongoing thanking us for our support. We are privileged as numerous artists request and send us their tracks for exclusive pre release plays.
We are blown away each and every week with the talent from around Australia. As Chris says "Its not from lack of talent more lack of opportunity"
